It the case of 3D visualizations, it’s sometimes better to show than to tell. Renderings have multiple applications in the worlds of architecture and real estate, both for interior and exterior design. Two weeks ago we talked about how 3D renderings benefit interior design, and this week we thought it would be nice to show you a couple examples of exterior visualizations of resorts we did.
Fujairah Resort & Spa
For this project our clients were Eagle Hills and RW Armstrong who were in charge of the project itself. Our job was to create convincing visualizations that they could use for promotional and sales purposes.
This 2D plan was our recommendation for the recommended camera positions. We then created 14 renderings that showcased the project from various angles.
In addition to the predetermined 14 3D visualizations, the clients also asked us to create a 90 second animation video, which you can see here.
For this project our client was Studio I. We were to create 3D renderings for the Saadiyat island resort, off the coast off Abu Dhabi. The scale of the project made it challenging, but very rewarding. The resort went on to win multiple awards. We were provided with an aerial sketch on which we based our designs. The renders provided visuals for individual structures and the result as a whole. Both projects were challenging in their own ways, but we were satisfied with the end results in both of the as well. The success of them both, in our eyes, proves the importance of quality 3D renderings to the promotion and sales processes alike.
