3D Rendering

Working with Kanozi Arkitekter is always a pleasure, and this project is no different. We have a lot of experience working with Kanozi, and we are very tune into what they’re aesthetical appeal is and how they like things done. The unique visual approach of Scandinavian architecture is very well-known to us, so this commission was a joy to work on.

The Building

The municipality of Sundbyberg, Sweden is enriched by Kanozi’s concept for a residential building we were commissioned to realize. It is a magnificent piece of modern architecture, and our renderings show the building in different lights. On the one hand there is a day render that shows people in their daily activities, surrounded by perfectly designed landscape enjoying their day. On the other hand, there is a very powerful night shot of the building that shows off the specific detailing of the façade, absolutely glowing with light. These two contrasting approaches to a single building can certainly make you think in different ways, which was the goal of this project.

The Façade
The Façade

The authenticity of this building lies in its perforated façade which in turn emits light from within the building, best seen on the night render. It gives an effect of a starry night being plastered all over the building and making it an advanced piece of architecture. During the day, the perforations have a more demure, natural feel, making it blend perfectly with the landscape design.

The Exterior
The Exterior

When it came to realizing the vision of the building’s exterior, we were given references but had a lot of freedom in creating the actual look. We played around with the geometry and came up with some amazing results.
